King City Dental believes that a customized mouth guard is an important piece of equipment for athletes of all ages who play contact and no contact sports. They are comfortable to wear and more likely to be used. In addition, a customized fit helps to blunt the force of impact caused by contact or falls. Not to mention, properly fitting mouth guard helps protect teeth and minimizes injuries to the mouth and other vital structures as a result of a blow to the head or body.

Thank you for coming to King City Dental’s Sports Guard Clinic held on August 16, 2016. We are confident that you were satisfied with the services that your child/children has received and would also like to thank you and your family for paying it forward by helping the much needed families in our community. Your contributions were donated to our local King City Food Bank.

We at King City Dental are committed to the highest level of dentistry and would like to extend an invitation to you, your family and friends in considering us for all your dental treatments and would be delighted in having you join us.

The June 2014 Big Bike was an enormous success!
Over $240,000 was raised in South York Region alone for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  This vital fundraiser has impressive results; we surpassed our orginal goal of $238,000!  This record breaking accomplishment could not of happened without the support and dedication from eveyone involved.  A big congratulations to King City Dental, Woodbridge Smile Centre and Tazio Orthodontics for taking part.  The money raised ensures there is continued
support for helping Canadians live longer, fuller, healthier lives.  The stagering studies report that 9 in 10 Canadians have risk factors.  King City Dental provides an over all team approach to your oral care and provides the tools, resources and initiatives to help reduce the controllable risk factors of heart disease and stroke by empowering patients to make positive choices in the prevention of this disease.  Taking care of your teeth and gums is a life long commitment that includes regular dental visits and a good oral hygiene routine at home. By taking these simple steps, theres every reason why you should keep your oral health - good for life.

King City Dental took part in our first King City Street Festival this June 14, 2014.  We had many visitors to our booth filling out ballots for an electric tooth brush family pack.  We gave complimentary gift bags as well as water bottles and delicious apples.  The perfect snack to keep you smiling. Thank you to the people we met who welcomed us to this vibrant community.  It truly is a place where both businesses and residents are proud of their heritage, continue to support festivals and celebrate them in a rural way.  A big thank you and welcome to those who after meeting us, decided to become patients of ours; we are privileged to serve you, your family and friends. And last but definitely not least, thank you to Anna Raeli of State Farm Insurance, Dora Sabanito, Lela Bojovic of TD Canada Trust and the whole King City Business & Community Association for planning the 2nd Annual King City Street Festival concurrently with the Craft Beer Festival. It was a huge success and we were proud and honoured to part of it!
Cheers to next year!

Just like humans, your loving family pets can get cavities. Did you know that bad breath is the most common sign of periodontal disease in your pet’s mouth?  Along with yellow or brown plaque where the tooth meets the gum line, red bleeding gums or a swollen face. Examining your pet’s mouth is always a good habit to start when you are getting a new family pet, or even if you have furry friends already, it’s never too late to start.
Our loving furry family friends are a little different when it comes to having pain in their mouths. We as humans can express that we are uncomfortable and we generally lose our appetite, however, our pets cannot communicate that with us, and we cannot use their appetite as a guide to let us know something is wrong because in most cases, your pet will continue to eat just fine.
Your family veterinarian should be doing an oral exam with your pets at their annual checkup, and I could not believe it when I was told that there is Pet Insurance to help cover the cost of our furry friend’s dental work. I think this is amazing.
Between vet visits with your pet, there are some things that we can do at home to help their oral hygiene. We can “try” to brush their teeth with animal tooth paste found at most pet stores. There are dental treats that they can have, and also, there are some toys available to help with teeth cleaning and massaging of the gums.

Earth Day was started back in 1970 by Senator Gaylord Nelson and still, till this day, millions of people around the world are taking time to help their communities by picking up garbage or planing new trees. Earth Day was put into place to promote ecology and respect for life on the planet as well as to encourage awareness of the growing problems with air, water and soil pollutions.
We at King City Dental were proud to help our local State Farm Insurance Group clean up the streets of our gorgeous town this past Saturday. The weather was perfect and it feels amazing to be out in our community helping and showing that we care.

King City Dental is extremely proud to be participating in the 2014 King City Clean up Day. We were welcomed to join by the KCBCA. This is a yearly event and open to the public and local business to volunteer their time and help keep King City looking beautiful. Please see the link for more information and we hope to see everyone out on the streets this coming Saturday, April 19 2014. http://bit.ly/1qgPnF8
