Dr. Frank Catapano

With 40 years of experience, Dr. Frank Catapano is originally from London, ON, and achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Western University. He’s been diligently caring for smiles at King City Dental for 10 years and chose to pursue dentistry after being inspired by his kind, skilled, and fun-loving childhood dentist.

Dedicated to all areas of general dentistry, especially dental implants, Dr. Frank is particularly passionate about implant and cosmetic services that transform smiles and bolster confidence! His goal, now and always, is to provide effective services that can help patients get out of pain, and he’s focused on doing what he can to ensure each of you enjoy beautiful smiles and confidence for life!

Dr. Gerry Catapano

After being accepted in medicine, chiropractic, and dentistry, Dr. Gerry Catapano was inspired to pursue dentistry by his brother, Dr. Frank Catapano. Witnessing the incredible impact caring for smiles had on Dr. Frank’s life, Dr. Gerry attended the University of Toronto, where he achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He’s been practicing for 37 years and truly loves the role he plays in helping patients protect, strengthen, and beautify their smiles!

With compassion, skill, and a fun-focused approach, Dr. Gerry is devoted to helping his patients understand the incredible impact oral health has on overall health and the positive and far-reaching effects great homecare practices can have on their smiles. He has a special interest in wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, and gum grafting services, and his goal for his patients is that they never see him … with a drill!

Dr. Andy Nevill

Originally from Whitby, ON, Dr. Andy Nevill achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University in 2020. Drawn to working with his hands and getting to know his patients, he enjoys restorative dentistry and has a particular interest in endodontics and tooth extractions.

Jennifer

Dental Hygienist

With many years of experience in the dentistry field, Jennifer began her career as a dental assistant and receptionist before becoming a registered dental hygienist. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Oxford College of Arts Business and Technology in 2010. Jennifer lives in Bowmanville with her husband and two beloved cats. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new destinations through travel.

Cassandra

Dental Hygienist

With over eight years of experience in the field, Cassandra is one of our caring dental hygienists who graduated with Honours from the George Brown Bachelor of Dental Hygiene program. Passionate about promoting oral health and easing dental anxiety, Cassandra is focused on creating a comfortable and welcoming environment in the dental chair. She’s known for helping children and adults who fear the dentist feel at ease, and she takes pride in building trusting, long-lasting relationships with her patients.
Outside the office, Cassandra enjoys being in the company of her dog and two cats at home, and she also loves hiking, camping, and outdoor activities.

Kiran

Dental Hygienist

Kiran is a valued team member at Newcastle Smile Dental Centre, serving as an empathetic registered dental hygienist with a passion for promoting oral health and wellness. She graduated from The Canadian Academy of Dental Health in 2012 and has diligently cared for smiles ever since.
Outside our practice, Kiran cherishes spending quality time with her children, Kamren and Avaani. She especially loves adventuring with them and making memories!

Kaela is our warm and friendly front desk receptionist at our office. She has graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor's of Arts and holds a great deal of experience in administrative roles and client care.

Her dedication to providing exceptional service ensures every patient feels comfortable and well-assisted from the moment they walk through our doors. Whether scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, or providing helpful information, Kaela is committed to making your dental visit as pleasant and seamless as possible.

Becky

Dental Assistant/Receptionist

Becky graduated from the Dental Assisting program with Honors at Trillium College in 2019 and immediately began working. She is a proud member of the ODAA (Ontario Dental Assistants Association) and has been with us since 2021. She loves working with all our patients, especially the younger ones. When Becky isn’t at work, you can find her with her husband, Jayson, and her three daughters, Madalyn, Abagail, and Isabella, enjoying their time at their trailer.

Alex is one of our dental assistants and has been working in the dental industry for almost five years. Bringing a warm and welcoming experience to all our patients, she’s earned dual diplomas in dental reception and dental assisting from Durham College, where she also completed her placement in oral surgery. Throughout her career, Alex has worked in oral surgery and general practice.
When she’s not caring for smiles, Alex enjoys travelling and going to concerts.
