Our practice is proud to care for patients who are enrolled in the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), which is a nationwide government initiative focused on helping millions of uninsured Canadians receive a variety of smile-saving oral healthcare services.
Who Qualifies?
➤ Canadian residents without access to dental insurance*
➤ Patients who have filed their tax return for the previous year
➤ Eligible patients with an adjusted family net income of less than $90,000.
➤ Patients who have filed their tax return for the previous year

*Patients who have dental coverage through a federal, provincial, or territorial government social program can still qualify.
When Am I Eligible For Coverage?
➤ Seniors 65+: December 2023
➤ Adults with a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate: June 2024
➤ Children under 18: June 2024
➤ Remaining eligible Canadians: 2025
➤ Adults with a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate: June 2024

Which Services Are Covered?
➤ Preventive: Routine cleanings, dental sealants, & fluoride treatments
➤ Diagnostic: Examinations & X-rays
➤ Restorative: Dental fillings & dental crowns in some cases
➤ Endodontic: Root canal treatments
➤ Prosthodontic: Complete & partial removable dentures
➤ Periodontic: Deep scaling
➤ Oral Surgery: Tooth extractions
➤ Complex Services: Certain treatments & procedures will be eligible as of November 2024.

Does The CDCP Cover The Full Cost Of My Dental Services?
No. The government dental benefit covers a part of the cost of your care, but patients may have to pay a co-payment for services depending on their adjusted family net income.
